The story behind the brandBuilt for women who are learning to tend to themselves
A former Division I athlete. A mother. A woman who had to unlearn performance and relearn care.
Hi, I’m BrittI spent years training my body to perform. Now I'm learning to also let it rest.
For most of my life, my body was a tool. I was a Division I track and field athlete, an obstacle course racer, a triathlete — and that world is precise, demanding, and deeply tied to output. What your body can do. How fast. How far. How much. I was good at it. And I paid for it quietly; in ways I didn't fully understand until I stepped away.
Wildflower Running began in that in-between space — after competition, after the identity that came with it, before I knew what came next. I started cooking with more intention. Moving more slowly. Reading things that opened me rather than optimized me. And I kept thinking I wish there was a place that held all of this together.
So, I built it. Wildflower Running is a wellness space for women who are done with the performance of being well — and ready to actually practice it. Move, nourish, read, reflect. Not as a routine to check off, but as a way of coming home to yourself, steadily and without shame.
What we stand forFour ways of being, not four things to achieve
These aren't aspirational values. They're the orientation we return to every time we create something new.
Grounded
Rooted in nature, rhythm, and what actually works for real women's lives. Not trends. Not pressure. The steady thing.
Gentle
No hustle, no shame spiral, no before-and-after. Progress lives in small, consistent choices made with kindness toward yourself.
Whole
Body, mind, soul, and nourishment — tended together, not in isolation. You are not a collection of separate problems to solve.
Wildflower
Grow where you're planted. You don't need perfect conditions, the right season, or someone's permission. You just need to begin.
