What to expect

Four things in Every Letter

Every Sunday morning the letter arrives. It takes about five minutes to read and hopefully lingers a little longer than that. Not a newsletter blast. A letter — from one person to another, about the things that actually matter.

Root & Rise

Something to move you

A movement or stretch practice for the week ahead. Simple, accessible, designed for real mornings.

Start where you are.
Show up and move.
Stay with it.

Bloom Within

Something to sit with

An affirmation, breathwork prompt, or reflection to carry into the week. Quiet. Intentional. Yours.

Pay attention.
Come back to what matters.
Bloom into yourself.

Read Together

Something to read

A book recommendation, reading reflection, or from the monthly book club — for every age in your home.

Start where you are.
Read what you can.
Reflect in your own way.

Nourish

Something to cook

One seasonal recipe or ingredient to bring into your kitchen this week. Nothing complicated.

Keep it simple.
Fuel what you need.
Come back to balance.

The California Poppy

Why this flower,
why this name

The California poppy grows wild around my childhood home where my parents still live. Every year, without fail, it returns — regardless of weather, regardless of conditions.

It brings incredible colour and life to the hillside for its blooming season, and then it rests, and then it comes back. That’s the returning. The quiet certainty that something in you knows how to bloom again, even after a hard season.

Wildflower Running is that place. You don’t have to force it. You just have to stay rooted.
